The “Malibu House” was where my grandparents lived from 1936 until 1990. It burned down on my birthday! It always felt like my home, even though I did not live there for more than a few months, and visited for the rest of the time. We celebrated various holidays and summer days for most of my life. I dreamt about it almost every night for many, many years, until I finally bought my own home. In this list I also included interiors from my own houses, you can see the inspiration.
